Sunday, December 21 at 4pm in hall    Solstice: Winter Solstice is a Time for Celebrating the Return of Light

Be here this Sunday for 4:00 start*  for our Joy of Community Dinner  Service including  offerings of music and readings, and a little theatre. Our Chalice Lighting will spark the Beginning of the Gathering at 4:00, as will the lighting of the  menorah to mark the last day of Channukah.  Greg will be there to help with a microphone so you can hear. Otherwise, very low technology.

This time of year reminds us of loss and darkness in the World and here for the CV Unitarians. And it is a time of change .  Come share in the Community and fill up your Cup to start the Coming Year. It is about joy but bring your authentic self, grumpy or sad or indifferent. We need each other.

We are supplying Chili , corn bread, and some veggies, tea and decaffeinated coffee.

*If you are bringing something to share,  food ( appies and desserts needed), drinks, music , a reading , or something else please arrive at 3:40.  See Barbara  or Jane when you arrive.

Also, looking for a couple people to stay  and sing with Heather and Barbara  during kitchen cleanup after the event.
