“Ritual is a capturing, a making real of that which is felt, but not necessarily named, which must somehow be acknowledged and come to terms with”.
This quote from Dr. May Partridge, will be developed through a reading of her paper, as it pertains to experiencing soulful ritual in our services.

Our regular 1st Sunday of the month service will have a potluck dinner to follow after the vote for our name change.
after the closing song “Carry the Flame” we will have a Vote on informal name change of the congregation to “Comox Valley Unitarians”
Time: November 2, 2025 at approximately 5 pm (after regular service)
Place: in the Hall of Comox United Church
We will be asking for a “show of hands” vote on changing our informal name, e.g. on the website and other places, to “Comox Valley Unitarians”.
We will still maintain our legal name Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship for legal purposes.
If you cannot attend, please let a CVUF board member know in advance of how you would like to vote.
