Sunday Feb. 16 at 4:00 pm in the hall  and onThe Religious Society of Friends – Quakerism held in the Light
with Charlotte Carey, A bit of Quaker history starting with the founder George Fox and his wife Margaret Fell.
Charlotte will share her experiences as a Quaker covering an overview on the strength and courage of the early
Quakers in challenging the autocratic powers and prevailing violence in society of that day with strong action and
non-violent speech and action. The value of Silent Meeting. The Canadian Friends Service Committee. How
Quaker values have guided her work and lifestyle. She will have some Quaker friends from Parksville with her.
