We take a summer break during July and August. We’ll be back in September starting with our annual water
communion gathering .
September Water Communion Service
In your summer adventures—whether they are away from home or close by—
I invite you to remember to save some water to bring with you to that gathering
to pour into our common pool of water (symbolizing the re-gathering of our community after a summer
break). Rather than a description of our summer travels— wonderful though they may have been—it’s
good to remember that some of us can travel and some of us can’t (for various reasons). If you want to
identify where the water comes from (whether from a favourite place or from your tap at home), think
about the spiritual significance of the water for you-–then come back to share your thoughts
when we meet that day . We are blessed to be in a caring, inclusive community, where all are welcome.
If the weather is good, we hope to do this service outside in a nearby park!
